Entrepreneurship Scholarship

General Information

Scholarship to support a student from underrepresented groups in science and engineering or whose research interests and projects focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), providing an opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills beyond their academic skills.

Awarded by: TransMedTech Institute in partnership with Montreal InVivo, the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Montreal, the John Molson Leadership Centre of Concordia University and IRICoR.

Level of study: Master’s degree (2nd cycle) or PhD (3rd cycle)

Application deadline: Winter term 2022 – December 15, 2021 to January 31, 2022

  • The EDI Medical Technology Entrepreneurship Scholarship was an extremely valuable experience for me. It helped me better understand the process involved in transforming a research idea into a successful entrepreneurial venture. Every step of the way has been enriching and instructive, giving me the opportunity to network with successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and colleagues.
