Who are Baumann Ed.?

Baumann Ed. offers practical solutions to support language development.

Rather than sticking to theoretical approaches, Baumann Ed. develops innovative solutions to support people with speech and swallowing difficulties. In concrete terms, this involves providing professionals and caregivers with shared protocols. These solutions can take the form of services such as training or hotlines, but also medical devices such as muscle structuring orthoses, as well as software that incorporates exercise protocols designed to promote language mastery and integrates artificial intelligence. The company strives to make visible what is often invisible: the mechanisms of language, how to identify and understand them, and ultimately how to support them effectively.

Why did they choose the MedTech Innovation Lab ?

The company aims to explore business opportunities in Quebec with a view to establishing itself in the North American market, targeting specific populations: pediatric prevention and geriatric treatment for maintaining functional abilities and for people who have suffered a stroke, among others.

In this context, it commissioned the TransMedTech Institute to assist it in identifying and meeting key partners in the ecosystem at the academic, industrial, and government levels. This support enables them to guide them in their strategic and business thinking for their development and growth.

“We are very pleased with this collaboration with the TransMedTech Institute, which has enabled us to identify and meet, in record time, numerous potential partners with a view to possibly establishing a presence in Canada. This support is invaluable to us, and we hope that it will lead to strong and lasting partnerships.” Raphaël Faleschini, Co-founder & Marketing Director, Baumann Ed.
