Congratulations to Roxane Dubé-Cyr, former student of Prof. Carl-Éric Aubin, who recently completed a double doctorate in cotutelle (Polytechnique Montréal and Université Aix-Marseille) and was awarded the Prix de thèse en cotutelle Québec-France at the 77th Acfas Gala.

The Acfas 2021 Cotutelle Thesis Awards, which are sponsored by the Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec and the Consulate General of France in Quebec City, recognize the best theses that have been produced under a cotutelle agreement between France and Quebec.

Aymeric Guy

At the 36th Research Congress organized by the Sainte-Justine UHC Research Center on November 19, 2021, Aymeric Guy, a former TransMedTech doctoral fellow, received the Award of Excellence for his lightning presentation “Biomechanical study of the design parameters of orthopedic corsets used in several centers for the treatment of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis”.

Of the 123 presentation authors, 19 received an award, after evaluation by the 25-member panel of judges.

The research conference is an annual gathering for the student community and fellows to share the progress of their research in a multitude of areas.
